How to create an event
Firstly, make sure you have registered with our tech partner, Shotgun, using our link. If you aren't yet, simply click on https://shotgunexperience.typeform.com/trommel to do so. It is critical that you did so via our link, or your Shotgun account won't be linked to TROI platform
2. Confirm registration
Once registered via the above link, you will receive an email from Shotgun with detailed instructions on how to finalize your Shotgun and Stripe accounts. This will mean creating both a Shotgun account/page for your organisation (which will be linked to TROI) as well as a Stripe account for the payment processing

3. Enter Shotgun Smartboard
After the registration, proceed to log in to the Shotgun Smartboard at https://smartboard.shotgun.live/. This dashboard will be your main hub for managing your event, including its creation, marketing, and cash flow management.
4. Create your event
Within the Shotgun Smartboard interface, find and click on the 'CREATE EVENT' button, which is located at the top right corner of the screen, within the 'EVENTS' section. Follow the on-screen prompts to input all the necessary details about your upcoming event.
5. Launch your event & tickets
Once you have completed the steps above, click on 'SAVE EVENT'. When you're satisfied with all the details, hit 'PUBLISH EVENT'. Don't forget to 'LAUNCH' your tickets as well, which you can also do at a later stage if necessary. Once your event is published, it will be visible on both the TROI platform at https://tickets.trommelmusic.com and the Shotgun platform at https://shotgun.live. Ensure that your event is properly listed on both sites.
6. Download the ticket scanning app
Head to Apple or Play Store and download "Shotgun Scan" app, in order to be able to scan the attendees' tickets at the door
